I wouldn't buy anything black coated that comes into direct contact with food. Teflon pans are enough

I mean I guess it is a deal if you are looking for a deal on junk knives, but if you are looking for a deal on knives, this is the opposite of a deal. It is throwing away money on junk.

IMO, if you only have $25 to spend on knives, get a single knife for $25, not a full set for $25. Or spend a tad bit more and get a good knife. 90% of people don't need anything more in their kitchen than a single medium quality chef's knife. Mercer culinary would be a good choice on a budget. Keep it in a case in a drawer and save yourself some counterspace instead of having a block of knives full of knives you never use.
