So its better to buy it on June 1 provided the deal is still active.
The fact of the matter is that Costco is actively hostile to those that sign up for Costco memberships from third party membership offers like Groupon. I am stating this based upon my own personal experience and the knowledge of others' experience to those who might sign up for this offer thinking that everything will be "automatic" and won't involve any possible hassle.

Personally, I'm playing it safe and only getting the Gold. My wife was on the account in 2023. When I renewed in 2024, deal above, I did not add her. So she will be getting this deal with her email. Mine expired in February. If it doesn't work, I'm only out $65 and not the $130.

SD is a great place thanks to honest comments. Some company doing better or worse is relevant information and anecdotal experience.
although Costco doesnt give any free stuff or being super cheap, you still need to get too many verification hassles these days. In, checkout and out. All the way there are harassment happening like you are a f'in criminal. With technology you'd expect this to get less and less but for some reason it is increasing

I use Costco online & I don't have a membership & it doesn't charge me more - & free shipping.
