So its better to buy it on June 1 provided the deal is still active.
The fact of the matter is that Costco is actively hostile to those that sign up for Costco memberships from third party membership offers like Groupon. I am stating this based upon my own personal experience and the knowledge of others' experience to those who might sign up for this offer thinking that everything will be "automatic" and won't involve any possible hassle.

Lol note to self, make sure to use a different name. They had it in their notes to not give out the card and coupon when I called. They gave me an option for them to re-submit a request to the Marketing Team. But I just said naa, just refund it. I'll try again later maybe.
I received $50 shop card but not the $100 off promo code or travel code!

Logged on to my old expired account and reactivated it using new account number.
Received $50 shop card on the 19th.
6/21 Signed up for Exec membership using new email
6/21 Got confirmation emails from Groupon and Costco with new membership number (created a new Costco login)
6/24 Welcome email with a $10 off $100 promo code (haven't tried using it)
6/26 Got $50 shop card email

Received new (gold star) membership details email same day and $50 digital shop card on Jun 26. However only received the $200 travel offer on Jul 01 and did not receive the $100 off on $200 for costco online. Any idea if I can reach out to Costco to get the offer?
Also, the $50 shop card is only for people who get an Executive membership along with a costco anywhere Citi credit card, right? Or can a gold star member too get the $50 shop card when they apply for a costco citi CC? Thanks!
