A few things to keep in mind here - Xbox just RAISED prices. So getting the most powerful console at a discount is pretty nice.

As someone who owns all the consoles and a high end PC, the PS5 Pro is awesome and really the only way to get higher end games to look decent this generation. Especially if you want to play at 60FPS.

For anyone looking forward to GTA6, this will easily be the only console version that will give the game the horsepower it needs to display properly. It will look like ass on the Series S, it will look mediocre on the Series X/Base PS5 but it should look pretty decent on the Pro. All consoles will be locked to 30FPS(99%) though. PC will be the only option for high frame rates when that port launches a year or 2 after consoles.

Literally made this decision yesterday, had $700 of trade credit for a second PS5. I went with the Slim (Disc) CoD bundle for $449. We play BO 6 zombies together, so we were planning on buying the game. Factoring in the disc drive with a Pro, it was a difference of $300 ish for a pro with a drive and buying BO6 separate. Had to ask myself if the barely noticeable difference of the Pro was worth it. Definitely feel I made the right decision.

I find it hilarious that these consoles are still struggling to get the highest resolution possible and 60fps on a consistent basis. I thought the Dreamcast was going to be the first console to do that but clearly I was wrong.
