Oh crap I just bought it at Target online Sunday. Never knew they had the upgrade to remastered since it has the Frozen Wilds included. Guess I will be doing a return to save $20, thanx!

I'd say so. The character and storyline and premise for 2 is all set up by 1, it'd be pretty hard to follow.

Yeah, I would say definitely. It has quite a great story, acting and visuals. Definitely one of my favorite games of recent years.

Zero Dawn is one of my top 5 games from the PS4/Wii U & NS/Xbox One era. The game did a fantastic job on the whole world building/setting aspect, great story, and it was damn fun to play. I loved exploring the world and fighting robot dinosaurs. This is well worth $30 if you don't already have the regular PS4 copy for the $10 upgrade- it's significant upgrade from the original for a remaster.

The remastered version is super buggy compared to the original. I'd say the remastered version is not worth it if you aren't nit-picky about graphic quality.

I don't mind the graphic bugginess as much as I hate the gameplay bugginess where the character gets stuck jumping into an area that's not developed. How does it do in that regard?

I'm about 1/3 the way in a NG+ on the remaster. I haven't had any gameplay issue, mostly issues with cutscenes seemingly being cut short or something. I'm not sure if that's due to NG+ or the remaster though as I never played NG+ on the original PS4 version.
