I have been playing steady since release. It has a huge 4 player coop campaign, at least 30-40 hours of missions and side missions before you even get to end game, and end game has a lot of activities.
good story.
PVP is not recommended for beginners
even if only for story its worth 3 bucks all day.
there are tons of guns and skills to use, skills are impressive when your build is good
The loot mechanic is good but also complex and just explaining the gear unlock and mod system can take a while, but add a lot of depth to the game.

you can, in game, at any time, and a message asks you when you die, "Call for aid" or "Call for backup"
this puts you in a game wide queue to receive assistance from other player characters.
they will automatically join your game and start helping, but expect them to be FAR more powerful than you. They may also have mics you can hear.

If you try it and like it and would like an in game explainer of anything my Ubisoft name is UnusualDevices
feel free to friend me ingame and send me an invite.

Um because this will give you almost instant results (not have to sit through hours of YouTube reviews and sift through gaming forums). Plus this can open up a dialogue where he can engage in some Q&A if the guy has additional questions like how does it run or how buggy is it. With your logic, why even have remarks/questions on this site? I'm being serious here; how about people just post deals and not talk about said deal whatsoever. Does that work for you? 🤷

Won't link, but I can assure you the cheat community for this is very alive and well. Fortunately the prices for cheats is insanely high so if you run into a cheater, know they paid out the booty to be one. Loved the game, haven't played in years, was debating buying, still on the fence, but holy moly are there tons of devs working on undetected cheats for this game. Kinda surprising, considering how old it is.

Do you have the standard version posted in this deal or the gold/ultimate version?

One of the top negative reviews says that the standard version is locked out of certain quests and there's no way you upgrade to a higher version, you have to buy the game again.

$3 is a crazy deal, but hard to justify if you are locked out of content that's already in the game...

I have about 3000 hours logged in this game. While buggy and not optimized at times, the graphics hold up very well, tons of people still play everyday, and updates are made periodically. The Gold Edition will get you more content, but the base game should be enough. There are lots of different build types so your gameplay differs based on what type of gear and weapons you choose to go with. CO-OP is the way to go. It 's a lot of fun to play with others. Matchmaking into random games is quick and easy. There's a rogue-like mode you can play up to 4 people with, which is what I typically play nowadays. But helping out randos complete missions is always a good time.

I got this on PS4 ages ago. Gonna see how it does as it's next in queue to co-op with my brother. Glad to see that it has new content and the community is still alive if we get stuck on a mission. $3 for PC a game isn't bad.

I haven't played this game, but i think you expect too much while pushing 200fps
Start with 60
Bigger is not better. The human eye can barely detect 200 vs 60 fps. Your eye is built to work with 60 fps. Consider that movies used to be shot in 24 fps.

read the steam reviews. there is content locked you cannot access unless you buy the $35 "ultimate" edition at the start (this is the sale price until 6/4, regular price is $69, screw that). You cannot buy it later or upgrade.

Angry Joe gave this one 7/10, but pointed out a lot of bugs who knows if they got fixed, he did the review when it came out 6 years ago. He gave Div 1 a 5/10.

TLDR he basically says there is fun to be had if you play with friends and MAKE it fun. For $3 maybe it's worth a shot if you're really into looter shooters with not much story.

I miss the Rainbow 6 days.

If you like looter-shooters this is probably the best one out there right now.
The base game gives you 25-50 hours of content depending on how much you like sidequests. And that does not include the endgame. For $3 it's a no-brainer.
You can add the DLCs later if you like the game.

Agreed. For the initial grind to lvl30, this is 100% worth the $3. Very fun campaign.

FYI: The base game does lock you out of some late-game content, but if you're just looking to run the campaign and maybe a few extra missions, $3 is still a solid value

First was definitely better. FYI this FORCES you to play the campaign on easy mode your first playthrough, so if you're not finding it challenging enough, oh well. Higher difficulty is locked until you finish then you can play through again. Because if that, my group ditched it. What a bummer because it was definitely worth a playthrough otherwise.
