The sockets have the teeth inside, to remove rounded off fasteners.

I have one of the larger overdrive sets. I'm happy enough with the sockets (and the wrenches are fantastic), but the ratchets are IMO gimmicky. You'd be better served with a well made 90 tooth single-pawl mechanism. But the marketing folks had to have their way...

100% on this. The quality is not there and it's going to break.

In this case, the additional head thickness is at odds with the putative purpose of a high tooth count - providing better options for tight spaces.
