Los Angeles and Palmdale Lowe's (try ZIP code 90001) have the latest generation brushless DeWalt 20V Max XR 7-1/4 inch Circular Saw DCS590, 4.5 inch Angle Grinder DCG410, and Reciprocating Saw DCS384 Kits, which include one 8.0 Ah XR PowerPack Tabless battery (also the latest DeWalt battery tech) on sale for $279 with a BOGO offer for an additional, 2nd 8.0 Ah XR Powerpack Tabless battery for "free" with the kit purchase. So that's 2x 8Ah PowerPack batteries, the tool, charger, and bag, for $279 in LA (appears to be $349 everywhere else).
The deal is hackable with prorated receipts (see attached) - just return the $125 prorated battery in store - bringing the kit price down to ~$150 with tool, charger, one battery, and bag. Per Daggerfall, Lowe's
return policy [lowes.com] states: "If you purchased items as part of a BOGO promotion, the purchase discount will be prorated to each item proportionately. If you choose to return any of the items, your refund will be equivalent to the prorated amount."
Steps for hack:
1) Navigate to one of the kit deals linked below.
2) Select a store in Los Angeles (zip code 90001) to get the $279 price ($350 everywhere else)
3) Order, receive, and then return the prorated 2nd battery in-store per Lowe's stated return policy
4) Get the latest Gen 20V XR 7.25" Circular Saw, 4.5" Angle Grinder, and/or Reciprocating Saw Kit w/ XR PowerPack 8Ah Battery for $150.27

Not sure if this would work online via shipping or in store-pickup, but if the receipt reflects a prorated price for the battery and kit, you should be good to go on an in store return. If you're not in LA, at ~$150 for an 8Ah XR PowerPack and latest gen XR tool, online might be worth a try, worst case you just return everything or sell the 2nd battery.
It's not really even a YMMV either, considering Lowe's app and website both explicitly state that you can return part of a BOGO offer for the prorated price as part of Lowe's return policy. It's not a grey area when it's written on their own website. I'm not sure if individual store managers are even allowed to overrule the official policy given by Lowe's corporate.
I bought the angle grinder kit with 8Ah battery and charger for ~$150 plus tax. Considering the lowest-end Dewalt 20v Grinder was frontpage at $70 just 2 months ago, this deal is completely insane in comparison. $80 more gets you Dewalt's latest 20v grinder, their top of the line tabless 8Ah battery, the turbo charger, and a carry bag.
