4060 has only ever come in an 8GB model. It's the 4060ti that had two variants.

By the way, it takes a low Profile dual slot GPU, like the Gigabyte Low Profile Oc MODEL. In fact the model with Ram , ssd and GPU comes with this Gigabyte GPU only. So, the newer RTX 5060 Low Profile models from Zotac and Gigabyte should fit as well.

The lack of VRAM is the only reason I'm holding onto my 3080 16GB laptop, the 40 series was awful stingy with VRAM and 8GB ain't enough anymore.

What's the reliability like for a desktop, 795S7? I'm not familiar with Minisforum. Legit pre-builds?

Worth noting you also need to supply your own wifi with these (there's a slot on the motherboard for a wifi card).

Probably a good thing. You can get a good Ax210 for like 20 bucks, whereas they probably will give you something shittier.

I've messed with the 7945hx variant a lot - swapped in noctua 92mm cpu fan, added a slim 60mm and regular 60mm front intake fans, tried a flex psu but similar noise profile.

Lots of headroom on this, though space is tight. With a 4060 Hotspot gets past 100, I imagine a 5060 would be worse. Intake cpu fan and intake front fans ended up working best, vs front exhaust. The gpu chokes without the slim front intake.

Great cpu, I run at 65w, pbo -20 90 thermal limit
