Many times manufacturers have set up a minimum price that an item can be sold UNLESS it opened box, returned item. refurbished, display model...etc...
Sometimes the retailer just wants to clear stock and open the boxes.

Thanks for the coupon, crazy deal if this ships! In most cases I would say it is one in a million, but I have gotten a few Samsung deals over the past few years for tablets and phones, where taking the right steps and providing a trade in basically got me free stuff (a few orders <$100 shipped including free add ones like watches, earbuds, and accessories) that MSRPed at $1000+. So the chance is a bit higher here I think?
