OK cool. I'm still on the fence. Too many battery platforms already, but GW has some great 24 and 48v options.
Unfortunately I had to return. It seems like Greenworks lately has been sending used products. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews prior and looks like the connecting part of the trimmer poles are heavily used and damaged. Just by the looks of it it appears the manufacture date is almost 5 years old. I had the same experience buying a pressure washer from Greenworks website but it wasn't as badly damaged as the trimmer. I did have better luck with buying it from Walmart

Well that really sucks. What a black eye for Greenworks.
Makes my experience with them seem no so unusual. I ordered the 60v 18" chainsaw kit about 6 weeks ago. Chainsaw, 5ah battery and 6amp charger. The chainsaw and battery looked fine.
New and unused, but the battery charger was scuffed and scratched. Clearly used. I called them and after holding for 45 minutes was told they would send me a new one.
No explanation was offered as to how a used charger was in a box with a new chainsaw and battery. BTW the "new charger" I received also appeared used. Not to the extent of the first one, but definitely not new.
I'll certainly hesitate before ordering direct from GW again. From your comments here my experience may not be that uncommon.
