I bought this exact set 2 weeks ago from Walmart and returned it because they scratch really easily with metal utensils. I would highly recommend not getting this.

Corelle is the way to go. So good and compact. Love it.

Couldn't agree more. If you aren't buying fine china, buy Corelle. 'Stoneware' is just going to chip, scratch, or get ruined in some way or another pretty much overnight. Forget it if you happen to drop one!
I have friends who have wrecked more cars than I've broken Corelle dishes in my entire lifetime of using them. They go on sale often enough and last for-fking-ever so there's no point to buy garbage dishes that weigh 3x more, take up 3x the space, and chip if you look at them too hard.
What the heck are you guys talking about. Corelle is trash, and stoneware is amazing. Not this stoneware, but quality stone dishware is great. Corelle is paper thin smashed from the smallest of dings.

This one is nice for dinner. The edges make it easier to pick up food or have a sauce.

The look and style are awesome but they don't hold up.
