I've tried to turn off always on display and I just can't. Hate these things without an always on display - they're useless IMO, they never turn on when I need it and I'm constantly shaking my wrist to figure out the time.
Since I don't do extreme sports and have zero interest in cellular, the only benefit over the series 10 is that extra battery life, but it's not worth a 200 USD upcharge IMO. Thought my series 7 was busted which had me look at this hard but it turns out it was my charger, not the watch. I'll stick to the 7 until a serious upgrade occurs, which doesn't look like it will happen until the series 12 or Ultra 4, as the series 11 and Ultra 3 are rumored to be incremental upgrades.
