When the deal was first listed, the promo code was on the product page listing. It's not there anymore, so I'd probably assume that it doesn't apply any longer.

What is wrong with Newegg? I used to buy a lot from them but haven't in the last few years due to various reasons.

A popular youtube channel, Gamer Nexus, exposed Newegg's practice of ripping off consumers a handful of years ago. I think there were several problematic policies with Newegg, but the main focus was the company not properly refunding buyers for returns. There are several videos on the topic, but this one can get you started if interested:

Newegg claims that they have made some changes to their return policies since GN's video, but even today it seems like the jury is still out in the court of public opinion.

My personal opinion is that we as consumers need Newegg, or companies of it's size, to remain in the computer hardware sales ecosystem to fend off quasi monopolies in this area from other companies least we fall into the same issues with a different company. I'm not saying Newegg should get a fee pass, but if there's a good deal, there are are definitely less reputable companies that you can buy from.

For what it's worth, I bought and successfully returned a PSU from Newegg this year (but ymmv especially since the relevant return issues were with open box motherboards for the most part.
