Hmmm this is pretty small...
Yep, to me that's what made them unique. I've never seen a small size tote made solid like these nor anywhere near this price point.... I hate filling a medium size tote only half full which takes up more room in my rig. These were perfect for my uses.

Cool! There were over 200 of the clear and about 150 of the black at my local HD. They were is several floor stock cardboard kiosks in a couple of places in the store.

Heck, you can't even buy a nice cardboard box for $2.50!

Think small electronics like USB & HDMI cables, chargers, adapters, PC cards, remotes, etc. Maybe supplements or meds, socks, gloves, etc. For me these might be perfect for various small tools and tool accessories, like drill bit sets, pliers, wire wheels, boroscope, stethoscope, etc. I.e. semi-random stuff that doesn't really go anywhere else.

My actual power tools, and larger handheld ones like socket sets, ratchets, breaker bars, etc., I keep in tool boxes & bags.
im gonna put all these tiny things like makeup.
alot of makeup like 20 basket full of makeup
then im gonna have more for my essential oils
then it's basically the same size as my junk drawer in my kitchen so there will go my junk drawer ish.

If you have rats they might also chew on them for nest material/food

U need lower the quantity. I also had the $35 at first. Pretty sure it's by weight.
Not based on weight but based on address, I put one item in my cart as soon as I change my address it goes to $35 as I am way out in the country 30 min from store. Was 2.99 to start

My local Home Depot's did their normal routine. I get a deal like this. And buy to pick up. They cancel over night my order and next day all say (my store said had 130 available ) limited stock at store not eligible for pick up. They do this every time

168 in stock for Pickup for Clear
146 in stock for Pickup for Black

for the Home Depot nearest me. I have 10ish of the black ones in the 'normal' tote size, so wondering if I should get the black to match or get clear for practicality of seeing what's inside without opening it hmm..what would you get?

I would get the clear one, so you can see the content of what it is inside.

Like some things in life.. You will be super disappointed in how small they are if you're not expecting it lol

Here's a video to show the size

Actually much bigger than I thought they would be, like oversized shoe boxes

Yes. Cardboard attracts roaches, silverfish, rats, and quite a few other insects and pests.

And life pro-tip: open your delivery boxes outside so you only bring the contents inside. Cardboard delivery boxes aren't exclusively stored in climate-controlled/pest-controlled spaces, so it's very easy to inadvertently bring live insects or insect eggs inside the house with the delivery box.

i did a test on the 27 gallon. Home depot vs Costco Home depot lost
For those wondering, these are about the size of shoebox or so. There are a ton of different use cases for these, I bought a few to use to clean out my junk drawer in the kitchen because I have a dozen or so USB chargers and cords there. I got another to hold all my random acrews/nuts/bolts/washers that I will undoubtedly never use but keep until my death. I don't know why I bought the other few, but that will sort itself out later lol.

Picked mine up and they are adorable, great for small kid toys or misc tech stuff. Fit well on a closet wire frame shelf. Won't fit most mid size stuff.

how many size 8 shoes can i fit in this storage?

Kids size 8? Maybe 3-4 pairs. Adult, I wear a mens 8 and can barely fit 1 shoe in there. Won't fit even a slim pair of 8s.
