Gotta love these free, just pay $x to get it, offers, especially when you can't stack offers. So, buy overpriced fries to get free burger. I guess it's still a deal, but still not "free".

Right now is breakfast. i cant even see the reglar menu till bfast is over at 1030am
I memorize. In my area, the first three items listed are all $1. Sweetened iced tea is offered all day.
Also, you will notice, however, unsure if one can order from the Burgers For Breakfast tab. That selection has always been there; however, I have been too afraid to order anything from it for fear that they will state that I will have to wait until lunch. I wish Burger King would bring back the Breakfast Whopper though. Those were good!

That's crazy talk. Impossible "meat" tastes nothing like beef.
I took Impossible Burgers to a friend's BBQ just for myself and a friend who eats meat had one without realizing (took off the wrong plate) and couldn't tell the difference

I support your comment. I've grown tired of fighting the free label when it isn't free fight, but I will support those who have taken up the fight.

These deals became more popular after the pandemic. Before, it was just the standard BOGO.
If I remember correctly, I had seen this in the Wendy's app before it popped up on others and this was when I had Burger King's, McDonald's, Rally's, etc.). Then Wendy's varied it to "qualifying purchase."
So now fast food places are getting smart because they know value is being compromised. If a large French Fry costs $3.49 and is free with purchase, they do not want you to purchase a very cheap item to get that for free.
I check everything now and make sure I always get the cheapest item (as long as it also apparently now "qualifies"). Wendy's deals are useless if the minimum is more than the value of the item being given for free.

it's 11am and lunch menu can be seen.
In my area there's no $1 menu.
2 cookies $1.29
softserve cup/cone $1.39
i guess i can get a double cheeseburger $3.59
or just skip it altogether since there's no bargains
