Better not always means Better depending of what you like. Jbl has definitely a little more bass, this one has clear Audio and dinamic Basss .

I own one of these I bought a few weeks ago from Secondipity. Came in a brown box but otherwise had everything. Looks brand new. Sounds great, everything works perfectly. Insane value to get this size of a quality Sony product for $150.

I purchased the smaller version from the sale a few weeks back and have been really happy with the quality for the price. As others said, it arrived in plain box bubble wrapped but appears to be like new. I'm debating if I need something this size for the patio.

I recently bought a different model of a Sony BT speaker (SG300 maybe?) from Secondipidity...I wish the sound was a bit clearer but otherwise, no complaints. It was packed well, looked brand new, and has functioned correctly. If anyone is hesitant about the seller, I made a recent purchase and have been pleased.

Same here. A steal at this price. Seems new and sounds good. I would not say worth $499 new like Best Buy has them for though. But at this price, solid.
