It's really dependent on your usage needs. If your using it casually and value being able to use 2 monitors with the lid open and a more powerful chip, then the M4 is great if you can get it open box - like new. If you're fine with having to close the lid while using 2 monitors and think the extra ram + storage is more suited for your needs versus the chip upgrade, try getting the M3.
