Blah. These taste horrible. Do these still not work with the air tags?

The page says they work with AirTags. I just bought some of these at the store last night to put in my AirTags and they work.

What do you use these batteries for in the Shield? I didn't know it took coin batteries for any reason

I ordered a 4 pack last year and they sent me like a 48 pack display. I hope they last forever because I'll never need to buy one again. Airtags eat one a year.

they won't! I found some old cr2032's from four years ago and all died in my car's key fob after 2 months! the original ones lasted three years!

Apple Airtags will work with any CR2032 battery. Better brands may last longer, cheaper brands could show "low battery" in less than 1 year. (Duracell vs Dollar Tree Panasonic brand)

I think this comment was in reference to the child proof coating Duracell puts on their batteries. It's been noted that the coating needs to be wiped off for them to work with Airtags.

Oh, I have not seen that. My newest pack of CR2032 batteries is Energizer. I will remember to look for that. A few good wipes with paper towel should clear that.

My generation Shield uses these batteries for the remote control. I have the remote with no volume buttons. You slide your finger up and down the strip instead, which is kinda annoying.
