Got this backpack and love it for travel. Lots of pockets and compartments, very good durable nylon, very good zippers, thick padded back and straps, great handle, shoe compartment, water bottle pouch. Airline Carry-on approved size. Lots of packing space.

I ordered but am considering cancelling. Normally, I use high numbers of reviews as a good way to decipher trends. With a very small percentage of a large number of reviews being negative, I pulled the trigger. However, if you read the negative reviews that do exist, there is a common theme: low quality. Multiple reviews state that the materials and stitching are cheap and may/did quickly break down.

I needed an alternative to the backpack I have been using for the last two years to take my things into work with me. I like the organization options with so many pockets as well as the larger size but now I'm concerned that it won't stand up to the weight of being used daily.

Does anyone have personal experience with this item that might be able to give some insight? It is supposed to be delivered today but so I may be forced to send it back anyway but it never hurts to ask.

Nevermind. It is probably too late to cancel this order since I ordered for same day delivery but there are similar items on Amazon for roughly the same price. One option is a 50L, 17" backpack with over 49K reviews and a 4.6 star rating at $23.79. The review distribution is nearly the same but you are getting more space in the other that shows as, "Amazon's Choice".

50l as a general travel backpack sounds like a terrible idea. Most are like 30-40l for a reason.

And that's fine if you are only buying it for the purpose of traveling on airplanes. There are still tons of people who travel via car or use these travel bags regularly fit other purposes like work (as I do) due to their varied storage options for great organization. When I'm not using mine for work, it is excellent for road trips. Both of these use case scenarios means that having a little more room inside is a bonus and why there are even larger sizes offered in these exact styles.

I wanted to get this because unlike the one I got in the past this one has a laptop compartment but from my experience these are more comfortable if they have the strap that connects the backpack straps together. it keeps the bag from sagging from the heavy weight. I won't buy a backpack without it.

I have a similar backpack and I have been using it for the last 3 years. I can honestly say it's been a great backpack to have with the extra space. I have seen the comments that it's a bad idea to have a 50 l travel backpack which I wholeheartedly disagree with. You will see that it's better to have the space and not need it rather than need the space and not have it. I just ordered the XXL on this and will let you know how it goes.

I would look at the Amazon basics travel backpack. Dupe of ebags and better quality than this.
