The wolfbox MF100 was the #1 on project farm's video, wonder how the MF50 would fair on his list.

Not sure about this one, but I bought the upgraded MF100 and it's great. (Thanks Project Farm)

If the MF50 is half as strong, I wouldn't get it and would hold out for the MF100.

Exactly 50 MFs.

In all seriousness, the MF100 has been tested and receives good reviews on YouTube. Although at less than half the price, the MF50 is tempting. The 100 has higher motor speed, wind volume, battery, etc. Do you need/ want the 1000 hp car/truck, or can you be happy with the 400 hp version for less than 1/2 the price?

It seems that every review I've watched recommends going for the MF100 and skipping this one. But my guess is they're purposefully running a sale on the MF100 to upsell people on it. And at $80 do I really need a portable compressed air blower. Nope.
Not on sale

Mf100 ebay sale was 60$ with tax i have it it kinda is bad at blowing pc fan dust. The really dense dust that has alot of build up it struggles with. This one being much less powerful would struggle even more. Im returning the mf100 its not worth 60$ the nozzles need to be much smaller to the dense pieces of dust i tried all the attachments it came with

The MF100 did great at de-dusting my computer tower which wasn't too dusty to start with anyway. It then blew up our inflatable bed in less than 20 seconds much to my wife's chagrin as she tried to slowly inflate it first with the OG inflator. I then used it to clean out my vacuum canister. Pretty good, I'd say.

All said, these things have uses - better if they're powerful enough for the job.

Bought one of these electric dusters a while back and it has been less than whelming, some might say underwhelming. I should have just bought $25 worth of canned air dusters. Yeah, I'd destroy the earth in the process but at least I wouldn't have a dusty, crumby keyboard.
thats because you didn't get the MF100, its the best for sure.

Is this, or the more powerful version of this, anywhere close to the powerful but very loud plug in METROVAC DataVac Electric Duster 500P?
i have a metrovac style and one like this. the plug in has much, much more power, so much that it will kick back your hand if you don't have a solid grip. if you aren't worried about going cordless, get a plug in. but if you want to power up a camp fire it's usually more convenient to go with battery power, so it's all about your planned use.

If you own Ryobi batteries or any 18-20v get the Ryobi handheld high volume inflator for $25 on sale. Much better airflow and better usage than this.

I personally have this and really like it. Got it for about this price, too. Hard to justify more than double for the nicer model, but according to reviews, not only is the MF100 a bit more powerful, but it also seems more well-built. But for my purposes, this model met my needs. I also like the control scheme of these more than others, where it turns on as soon as I press the button and turns off when I let go.

The MF100 is on lightning sale for $71.99 so I picked one of those up. This is still a good deal for the MF50 though.

ProjectFarm on youtube tested a bunch of these and needless to say, there is a massive difference between models. Sometimes these tool tests show surprising results for some budget tools but in this test the bottom 80% of them were next to useless. That would definitely include anything in the $25 range. The top few models however put out serious air.

Got the MF100 on another fp deal awhile back. The unit's trigger button would act flaky when holding it while on Max power making it constantly go on and off despite being depressed, and the battery appeared to be swelling as the middle of the handle portion was behind to separate on the right. Contacted them with a video I uploaded to YouTube and description of what was happening and they sent me a new one and told me to send back the old one when I received the new one and tested it to confirm it was working. Got the new one in a few days and didn't get around to opening it and trying it for about month, reach back out to them saying it worked and they sent me a shipping label to send the old one back. Easy process and didn't have to pay any return shipping or anything like that so I'd say +1 for customer service.

That said, I haven't really found a use for it other than to show off how much air it moves for it's size. For me it's a toy that was a waste of $45, but this is Slickdeals so purchases I don't need are to be expected.

I'm fully in the ridgid line of products, but I heard ridgid blower and portable vacuum are not good, while ryobi ones are quality.

I have one of there dust corded vacs and they blow massive air but I need something portable to clean out my car and for use camping.

Two questions if you know the answer
-is there a converter to use rigid batteries with ryobi products?
-is there a ryobi to rigid battery converter that would allow me to use my corded dust vac? It draws a decent amount of wattage and the rigid one is only 175watts
