Chinese probably, but definitely not junk. Project Farm rated these gauges highly on YT. Bought this exact model last year and have been very satisfied with it and the build construction is solid.
Got this on the last sale. It works pretty good and does not feel cheap.
Most importantly this has AAA batteries and not those proprietary junk batteries that cost quite a bit that other gauges have..

For all the Nay Sayers, Project Farm loves the Etenwolf and the reason I picked it up at a higher price than this back in Jan.
Did you get the new version that no longer comes with Duracell batteries and a calibration certificate?

Also are Project Farm's reviews an accurate representation of the new version if it no longer gets a calibration certificate?

These are dumb. Batteries? How often do you need a tire gage? It will be unusable when you need it because the Batteries died long ago.

I was pleasantly surprised that this gauge is accurate as the Campbell Hausfeld gauge that I've counted on for years. It also has some plusses over the CH gauge, like the longer display time, less button-pushing, & AAA batteries over the button batteries that the CH uses. The only thing that gives me pause so far is the weird implementation of the battery compartment(I kind of had to guess at battery polarity & the thin sides of the removeable part don't seem very robust). But if the claims they make of the 2-year battery life are true it shouldn't be a big problem. I wish that Amazon would let you buy at least 2 of these at this price per account😒.

I just got mine a few days ago & I think the batteries that came with it were generic, chinese ones. I don't think it came with any type of certificate. Having said that though, this one was as accurate as my Campbell Hausfeld gauge.

As someone who has this gauge posted earlier, the batteries last over a year. Any one going that long without checking their tire pressure doesn't need a gauge of any kind.

Might need a 2nd. I am impressed with the first one I got. Dirt bike guys are constantly checking pressure.

EDIT: No coupon for me since I already bought one?

I got this, it was 2.5 PSI off from the actual reading (even though a lot of reviews said it was accurate). Maybe I got a bad one, but its ok at $4. Just know there's a chance it might not be accurate and you'll have to offset readings by whatever you find is the difference between the actual reading (using a known good tool). 2x AAA battery usage is great though

I'm curious how you determined the 'actual reading'?

Fakespot adjusted review score is 2.5. Doesn't mean it's junk but they are probably stuffing the ballot box.

Return for warranty if unit is off by 2.5 psi (vs a reference gauge). Do not rely on pressure data from the car's dashboard as they are subjected to high G force and vibration. Keep a cap on the valve stem when not in use. Otherwise, you may introduce contaminants into the tool when you check the pressure.
