Wow, $30 for double din on 2025, back in the mid 90s that was the cost of the after market pigtail or RCA's
The days of slapping in an upgraded alpine, kenwood, or pioneer head unit have essentially disappeared for all but the craziest of audiophiles. It's a different world now versus the 80's and 90's.
Nakamichi is a shell of its former self. It is now a Chinese company with pretty subpar products.

It took me forever to figure out I don't care about apple car play or android auto. It's just a bunch of blessed apps that will work through your head unit. I prefer a phone mount and Bluetooth. The head unit sometimes locks you out of functions while you move.
This head unit looks cool, and AV in is a neat feature though HDMI in would be better for testing stuff you travel to check out on FB marketplace. This radio should be in the good enough club. I've even seen people mount car radios in old computer cases, and use the old power supply to power the 12v unit.
We're all going to end up with only Taco Bell when all is said and done.
