Dang do these not have rims like at all? Looks like they might be a bit annoying to carry to be honest.

I was just recently looking for a stainless bowl set like this, and I landed on vollrath. Went through webstaurantstore and free trialed for free shipping.

I will say though, I found out when they got here they're made in India. I was under the impression Vollrath was made in the US, but I guess not their standard line.

They're OK for the price, but not they're not exactly high or commercial quality as the metal is pretty thin. That said, I use mine all the time and I like them. I just needed some bowls for prep, and these fit the bill in terms of sizes and price.

What about something like that with a non-slip bottom?

Are these any better quality than the ones found on amazon for the same price?

If these are like the ones I ordered off amazon a few years back, they are garbage quality. Will work for bowls though. But won't compare to the OP

Hopefully they are made out of steel and not lead. (on a serious note...whatever you do don't get any that are painted/coated.... it ruins the whole point of metal mixing bowls)

Just received mine. They definitely have a rim. They're a good size IMO.
