Its appaling how poor this ebay post is. The title media says 6 batteries, the description says 4 batteries and the media within the description says 3 batteries.

I would suggest contacting them to find out which one it is before purchasing.
I'm not sure if this is a great deal, but I'm tempted to purchase just so I stop twiddling my thumbs and waiting to research what components to buy for a system for my house...

Edit: I take it you can expand (almost double) your solar arrays down the line as it is a 12kw inverter and you're only going to be using about 7kw hours of the capacity?
This appears to be for OFF GRID use only. Do not buy it expecting to remain connected to your current electricity provider.

Something I keep noticing... Don't those solar systems require RSD (rapid shut down)? I planned solar for my house, and unexpectedly it turns out I have to add an RSD device on every solar panel + get a gateway, which all ended up quite costly. Is it just my jurisdiction that requires RSD, or is it handled in some better way? I don't see DIYers discuss it much

On roof? Needs RSD, add tigo optimizers per panel that includes RSD. On the ground? Most likely no need for RSD. But if it's on the ground you might want to get the tigo optimizers anyways if you have tree shading

It literally says "Grid Tied and Off-Grid capable" The images and description include support for AC, AC+PV, PV/DC, and DC only modes.

With that said, the provide zero info on what inverter/charge controller is included which is a hard no for me. Those details are crucial when designing a system and considering future expansion/maintenance.

Edited to add: this listing is rather unclear if it includes 15kw or 30kw or storage. The images vary between the two so ... would suggest contacting the seller for clarity and details on the inverter/charge controller.

You want to hear a good one?!
$28k for 29x410W via bidding wars between two solar installers.
They installed without inner-connection agreement from the electric company.
Now electric company isn't approving agreement over RSD, but solar installer says enphase should be plenty and it's all miscommunication.
More to follow from next weeks meeting on what not to do with a solar install…

Lot of talk of no RSD. You may also be required to have fire suppression in your battery cases. I do not think these batteries have suppression built-in.

Looks like it 4x server batteries not the 6 server batteries in picture. If you read description says 4x batteries. Still decent deal though
The description now says 6, maybe they updated the listing?

All fixed up now with reaching out to the company after their direct link provided clarity.

Can't really tell if it comes with 6 or 3 pack of battery. Terrible deal if it's just 3.

You will need a lot of wires, fuses, mounts , and other stuff to get this operational. Also Echo-Worthy stuff is not UL listed so if there is a fire or other issue you may have trouble with your insurance claim as well as if your not self installing being able to get an install to install non UL listed equipment. so yea do your research, people are installing these and supposedly they will be UL listed later as they are working on it but as of now they aren't AFIK.

I believe most home arrays must have a full shut off installed and certified by your utility (only way to guarantee safety when maintaining the lines as it could be generating electricity and feeding it back to the city)
yea they do have to have that but what he is talking about is if you plan on connecting to the grid your electric company may require that the connected equipment has certain certifications ( and EchoWorthy equipment doesn't have them. I amnot sure what they are called but I have ran across people complaining in solar facebook groups about this issue with Echo Worthy grid tie systems. most people use echo worthy stuff for off grid/ don't tell anyone it is there installs.
