the basic visible is complete trash. can't tell you how many times i was at home depot, costco, or even outside in a strip mall parking lot and unable to get any data
I had that issue when I had a 4G only phone. Now that I have 5G I have really good service in that same area. Not sure if that is what was causing your bad experience. I am not defending Visible
it looks like the plus plan enables 5G UWB, I'm guessing that's it
I'm inclined to say priority doesn't matter as much if you're not getting reception in the first place

The website does seem to mention a difference in networks among the plans. Basic does not seem to have access to 5G "ultra wideband." So maybe it does unlock more towers to be on the upper plans. Can anyone confirm?

I love my visible plan. I have the highest tier, last month I used 80 gigs of data. I have speed tests of 300+ mbps regularly. My highest 5G UWB Speedtest is 631mbps. My Apple Watch service is free, so I can listen to music without my phone if I'm on a run or something. If Verizon has good coverage in your area you'll love it. Where I'm at, Verizon is king.

But you do get reception it's just that the visible basic you are prioritized so unless you live in the sticks and don't go shopping in big congested places you shouldn't get visible basic I learned this the hard way I have visible pro plus and it's been great I went to Chicago and was getting better service than my sisters who have the that Verizon top teir plan.

$5 off seems mediocre compared to what we've seen in the past with Visible and especially compared to other service offerings. Maybe not so compelling to lock in the pricing for 3-5 years.

Basic has lower priority and also does not have UWB. In Verizon parlance this means no c-band or actual UWB (mmwave) which is huge so you are literally on the circa 2020 Verizon network which is 4G LTE with 5G in name only . This is the same as Verizon Welcome plan (lower priority no UWB) , and if you have it you will notice it. There are many areas w/ 5 MHz bandwidth (that is bad).
I am not sure why Verizon does this, but they do and people should know about the impact.
ATT and TMO are not as bad because while they still have lower priority plans they do not cordon off blocks of their spectrum/tech to these people so they can traffic manage more effectively and it's not as critical like Verizon to be on priority.

Don't forget $20 off referral code on your first month service fee. I found one or Reddit.

I am currently using Visible Basic. Some people including me are being limited to 30mbps. Of course, it is enough speed for use, but if you want higher speed, avoid Basic.

I have been using it since September last year and I am satisfied with the service.
I have a $15 per month deal plan in September last year.

Since then, there has been no $15 per month deal plan.

Lord, I'm so confused. I've been with them for years and have a grandfathered legacy plan that was $30, $25 for me. I feel like I'm getting jibbed lol

For those who are going to do this deal.

When I check my Chase Freedom Credit Card offers there was a promotion to get 35% cashback with visible.

If you have any of the chase credit cards check it before buying this plan.

Attempting to lock down customers with a 5 year cell plan is nasty work. Who knows what the market will be like in 2030? Crazy stuff. I'd hesitate to lock in a year at this point.

what decides if a phone is compatible with Visible? I have a oneplus phone I got through tmobile but it got unlocked. But when I enter the IMEI, Visible says its not compatible.
