Having take the tool apart, the internals are very basic. There is a connector to the battery, an on/off switch, and a motor/pump assembly. Nothing else and nothing is serviceable. I was able to buy a replacement button shipped from china.
Note that: If you get the 4 Gal version, that one has a pressure sensor which turns off the pump when water pressure is reached. The 1 or 2 Gal version does not have a pressure sensor and runs the pump all the time when turned on.
