I ordered one for pickup I'll let you guys know tonight. I originally bought the $80 TCL Atmos soundbar that was posted a few days ago. Saw this showing for $200 and figured it's worth a try I mean I'm sure it's not going to match my Samsung but the TCL I got sounded better than I thought it would but lacked rear speakers. If this sounds that good and has rear speakers it will be a steal honestly. I've actually read some positive reviews on this thing.

If it's anywhere close to the first gen then it's an awesome deal. I paid $300 for mine and it was worth the price.

This is the regular price per the website. Some locations are $218 but neither show as on sale.

The ONN setup blows the TCL bar away. I bought the TCL also. Taking it back this week. Not worth the discount.

So got mine setup I agree the onn sounds better. However I will say the subwoofer in the little TCL sounded just as good if not better to me. I don't know why probably need to play with the position of it a little but that was one surprising thing. The TCL is still going back because I need the rear speakers and the Atmos is slightly better. But for a bedroom or apartment I would say the TCL is still worth the $80 by far. This one is definitely worth the $200 probably not going to find much better till you cross into the $500 territory with something like Samsung or one of the high end TCL/Hisense 5.1.2 setups. Also it's shockingly loud the 250w RMS is no joke.

This is the pretty much the regular price. Not a bad soundbar as far as soundbars go. I had this specific one before switching over to a 5.1.2 setup with discrete speakers. The subwoofer isn't very hard-hitting, but also doesn't sound bloated. The surrounds leave a lot to be desired, as they are super quiet and don't match well with the levels of the L/C/R channels. Also, I don't think the Atmos makes any impact - realistically, with up-firing Atmos, you need drivers capable enough to project sound waves towards the ceiling and back down, and this soundbar just can't do that well given the size and quality of the up-firing drivers. Other than the flaws I mentioned, it's really not a bad choice and is a step above other ones at this price range.

Also, be sure to disable the virtual surround option on this if you do get it. It makes content (especially music) sound pretty bad and tends to turn itself on every time you turn on your TV. It doesn't hold a candle to Dolby Pro Logic or Neural:X

this is its regualr price. I bought this last thanksgiving @199 and I never seen this on sale. My dad owned a real 5.1 system when I was young, so this sounds just OK to me. It does 5.1 job fine but I do not think its x.x.2 works well on this sound bar. I have pop ceiling so I do not think that up fire sound can make a difference. There is no dialogue voice setting which means if you hear low voice sound in a movie mode, you can do nothing except you change the mode to voice which will make you lose some surround effect. Overall, if your think you do not want put a lot of money on a soundbar system, this is a good entry ticket to home theater. my goal is to get a samsung system. waiting for the deal on 990D.

For some reason I thought the MSRP was $299 either way for the price I think this is a very slept on soundbar setup. The virtual x is confusing to me sometimes it sounds good sometimes it makes it really bad. Still trying it out on different sources to see if it should stay on. One cool thing I found out is if you switch it to music mode it seems to disable surround x mode automatically I don't know if that's a new firmware change i hadn't seen it mentioned but it definitely cleans up the soundbar when listening to music. Rear speaker wise it much better than none but no where near dedicated av system rear speakers. However no soundbar I've ever had has had good rear speakers. I usually increase the rears by 2 notches and it usually helps balance it out some.

not likely. after my order got cancelled, i called it quits on rinky dink soundbars and went with the $500 integra 9.2 receiver and the polk elite speakers from woot.
