Decent iPhone and New Service for a Gudp Android veteren

I'm approaching 20 years of grandfathered, unlimited and unthrottled service with my androids. I'd like to have a new iphone and simple data plan besides verizon that won't disappoint in the new england area.

Only because my iPhone friends send shitty photos and videos.

Any recommendations are welcome.
