Economies of scale + improved manufacturing process. This is how all product manufacturing and msrp worked until 2020, when corporations increased prices beyond inflation even when supply chains returned to normal years later.

this right here is what most "consumers" don't understand. companies that had zero supply chain issues raised prices because they figured out consumers would pay the price hike. then prices fall but never go back to the original prices. 2x4 at Home Depot is a perfect example of this.
