Well, if you find one of these locally, it's worth asking to talk to a manager. There was a single 83B4 left in stock other than the display model and I talked to the employee for a bit. He said it wouldn't hurt to ask a manager. So I showed the manager this deal. He wouldn't go all the way down to $1400, but he did take it down to $1600.

Edit to add: I didn't realize that delivery is only available for web orders. So I went to a Home Depot about 20 minutes away, rented the cargo van for about $28 for 1.5 hours, and the LG box just *barely* fit vertically in the van. Success though.

Got mine yesterday in Fort Lauderdale. I was shocked it was still there. $1400.00 exactly for as is display. 3,100 hours on it. I begged for them to give me a better deal but they wouldn't budge. Either way the picture is stellar and soooo much brighter than my c1 which will now be used for gaming in our playroom.
