Meh, I have the 'power speed' which seems to be one model up from this one, it's 8 amps, 10 pounds, dust bin is about triple the size of this one, which is 6 amps and 7.7 pounds. I have low pile carpet, mine is light weight enough it skips over the carpet pulling it back, so it leaves marks when you're done, so idk what this lighter less powerful one would do. For hard floors or berber carpets, probably it's fine, but don't bother if you have carpets thicker than 1/8th of an inch.

Yes, that's what I said - I was saying I have the model that's one up from this deal, mine is more amps, this one is only 6 amps. The higher amp one I own is kind of crappy on low pile carpet, this I assume would be worse since it's lighter and less powerful. It's too light and underpowered, so it 'skips' over the carpet, which I assume would be even worse with the lighter and lower powered version in the OP.
