Is this really a deal? The gpu is only $350, I don't really see myself valuing the rest of the system at $850.

The cooling on this PC is suspect.
it has two front fans and the stock CPU cooler, I feel like you're volunteering to spend another 100~200 on cooling if you buy this.

Yes...And they are built with off the shelf parts, so they are easy to fix/replace versus larger OEM systems.
