I got this for 130. I haven't had a chance to spend much time with it but I have used it in it seems well built. The only 'dirt ' I have on it is review picture show it cooks in the back hotter than the front so you'll have to rotate the pizza to keep it even. Its a good toy for me. Im guessing ill like it after time to use.

I have the Bakerstone BBQ box and I also need to turn my pizzas. As far as I know, you always do: even in commercial wood burning ovens one side is hotter.

Does anyone know how long it would take for the oven to heat up to 600? I had another brand and it takes almost 30 min for it to get to that temp.

The $50 gourmia was a steal and a beast... wish I had bought more than one tbh... but didnt know that at time of purchase lol...even bought a Chefman for $180 as a comparison and the $50 Gourmia goes blow for blow with very little functional differences in pizza results in our weekly pizza meals (there are nitpicks but for the $50 the Gourmia was - it punches well above weight class)

Sorry to OP and others - I have nothing about the Bella Pizza oven in the OP. Just came to mention love my Gourmia and love my Chefman - and so do my kids. It has spoiled delivery pizza as just not good enough anymore...

yeah but it seems like the QA on gourmia is pretty weak. my first one never stopped beeping and then once that happened, it stopped responding to button presses, second one is working so far but kind of afraid its going to die like the first one. I mean you get what you pay for, but it does get decently hot for pizza.

Same experience with mine, returned it after issues after the 2nd use.

That is wild! We have been making pizzas weekly since it was purchased (family of 6 so means a minimum of 12 personal sized pizzas being made each week) It has been strong and zero problems. Guess QA was a strong reason for them clearing it out and I just got lucky that mine wasn't a dud (or I can expect it to crap out before the year ends lol)

Comparing it to my Ooni (gas/pellet) and my BIL's Breville electric, the Bella isn't as high-performing, but wow, it's fantastic value for the price – really a steal.
I'm quite impressed so far. Using Caputo 00 blue flour, I got nice spotting/leoparding on the crust and bottom of the pizzas - total 5m and rotating halfway. Ooni cooks in 1-2 min at 900+ for comparison, Breville 3min or so.
One tip: The oven shows 750°F after about 15 minutes, but my laser thermometer reads the stone temp closer to 650°F. Plan to preheat a bit longer to get the stone hotter than the display indicates.
Haven't had any of the common reported issues myself yet, but I'll update this thread if that changes.

Can you use it in a kitchen? Does it create enough steam to alert the smoke detector? Or should you be using it outside?
