Is this a good deal for what it is? Been looking to pick up a mini pc for my dad since he lives on a boat. He just browses the internet and watches YouTube. Is this overkill for that?

He could do that with his phone... but seriously I can't even find a sane used price on these things. this a decent price which could be driven with a solar panel.. but he'd need mouse/keyboard and screen. A used laptop would probably be more ideal. Regardless Install a clean copy of the operating system yourself though.

Yeah I get that but he's old and can use a computer better than he can use a phone. My biggest thing was trying to get a smallest footprint possible. I tried a laptop but he didn't like it. He has a tv on the boat and I figure I can just mount this thing on the wall behind the tv and it takes up no room.

What about an Android set top box like this?

Or the more powerful model: https://www.walmart.com/ip/onn-Go...5193222892

You'd get the same functionality without having to worry about Windows exploits.

Curious to see these n150s hitting the used market. Crazy what we can get for near raspberry pi prices and only slightly more power use these days.

What is a "Conception multi-interface"?

Buy him a chrimebox (not a Chromebook). Less than 7 watts while in use. Easier to use.

if anyone happens to have saved the driver's..I installed 10 pro on this a couple of weeks ago and can't get Bluetooth to work. I stuck in a USB Bluetooth stick and that's fine. but if anyone has the driver's for the native one. that'd be great their website didn't have them and the generics didn't seen to work. otherwise great box for the price.
