Anyone used this shaver before? Worth getting at Costco vs directly on Braun website?

Yes. It's a fantastic shaver and Costco is always the best place to buy it.
Sadly their last sale price was $149 so I'm guessing tariffs are hurting Braun.

I only buy my Braun shaver during Black Friday sales. I always save about half the cost.

I got this for $150 at costco last year. still love it. mine did not come with the power case - so that's probably why it's $50 more

Luckily for those of us who bought the previous model, the power case makes absolutely no sense at all. It has a proprietary plug on it... the same exact one that's already on your shaver. You can't plug in a USB-C that you'd likely have in your travel kit.

So why does the travel case need to be powered if you have to bring the original charging adapter anyway? Why would you plug that adapter into the case rather than directly into the shaver?

The power case itself contains a battery large enough to charge your shaver for an additional 60 hours or 6 weeks. While that's nice and all, you'd probably still bring your original charging adapter unless you were sure that you'd be traveling for a duration of more than 6 weeks but no more than 12 weeks.

It would have cost them pennies to implement a USB-C port so people can just plug their power bank/USB-C cable into it.

Whoever designed this did not use their brain.

True but 99% of trips are less than 6 weeks so its fine for those.

I get that it went for $150, but is $200 still objectively a good price for this model / everything it comes with, compared to other options? How does it compare to the Prime Day sales? If I missed out on an actual good deal, I'd rather wait till Black Friday
