Yes and yes - these are the latest version with updated hardware, ANC, etc.

Got these from Costco and plan to return. Overall pretty terrible. I expected it to integrate with iPhone like other Apple headphones, however that's not the case. The mic doesn't work. Sound is quiet but I think it's because I have to manually adjust the sound using the headphone buttons. There's so many issues that I haven't tried troubleshooting and plan to return.
they are also very uncomfortable. They cause a headache after a few minutes of wear.

Yup.

Both sound and build quality are terrible for something at this price point.

Better off buying a refurbished/used XM4 at the same price range when those deals pop up every now and then.

XM4 is way too bass heavy (Like older beats were) these sound more crisp, balanced and they have way better Spatial Audio when using an iPhone than the Sonys.
