Edit: It's interesting that people downvote me for expressing that I enjoy the game and like much about it. Your downvotes (or upvotes) don't change the fact that I enjoy the game and think much of it is great. If you don't want to spend your money on it, that's just great. I spent my money (Steam version) and don't regret it at all.
I also played every version since the original. I have VI for PC and Switch. For this specific offer though, although I haven't gotten VII yet, I'd rather go to PC first. The Switch limited the maximum map size for VI due to the limited hardware. I'd imagine VII would have the same limitations.
No problem. Glad I can save some people some money. I wish everyone would band together and not buy this, to send the message to Firaxis that we won't put up with this π π©.
