I've seen it at Ross for a much lower price. Can't remember the exact price but it was around $20 if I remember correctly.

Idk ask a friend who has received one of the many novelty decanters as gift, I don't think they're ever really used unless it's sentimental.

That would be a silly discussion as whiskey doesn't get "smoother" when decanted (unlike wine). This doesn't do anything to the flavor. If it did, logic would say just keeping your whiskey in the bottle would "self-decant" while sitting on the shelf. Personally, I prefer to show off the bottle which contains a wealth of information about what you're drinking.
