The height is only 2.25", so not much room. Handy to keep bacon 'fresh' though.

I think this is more for when you get it from the deli counter and it comes in those plastic bugs with the awful zippers. Could just throw it in a ziploc though.

Thanks! I already have the larger one for bacon and just bought the split container for deli meat/cheese, etc. These are well built and keep items fresh.

if it doesn't have a vacuum port, I don't see the reason for the silicone seal.

The bourgeoisie, at least this guy, shops at Walmart and the Walmart deli doesn't wrap their "cold cuts" in deli paper. We get our lunch meat in those cheap disposable plastic bags with the little slider that sometimes works long enough to actually use what's inside. Big Grin
