The 60V Max Cub Cadet batteries are identical except the key out is mirrored. Cut the plastic key or switch the top shell with your old Craftsman V60 Max battery and it should work just fine.

Will never buy anything Craftsman again after they discontinued the 60v line. My 60v lawnmower battery crapped out after just 4 years. Can't get a new battery now, and support will not help. Aftermarket batteries are impossible to find, or cost more than a new lawnmower

Exactly what happened to my 60V mower. Battery was shot this year and not way to find a replacement. Ended up buying a Greenworks.

Thanks a bunch! Just bought a set of Craftsman tools this past weekend! Great price on the 4.0 Amp/hr battery that I needed. I have a bunch of 1 & 2 Amp/hr batteries, but needed another 4!

I have read this before, however I cannot seem to find cub cadet batteries for sale either. Any links or advice?

They were available at Tractor Supply when I checked last year but it's starting to sound like they may be facing the same fate now. Frown

Quick side tips. 1. Subscribe and save on the two pack drops it to $75.05 ($37/ea). V20 20 -Volt 2 -Pack Lithium-ion ( 4.0 Ah 4.0 Ah Battery ) https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMA...1000595621 -- I set mine to 12 months and will cancel after my order is complete. 2. If you own a Power Wheels for your kids and the battery or charger are out, buy one of the cheap "[X] battery adapter for [Power Wheels]" Sub out battery type for "X" and if it's not Power Wheels there's usually another adapter for other types. I bought a Power Wheels Dune Runner from Goodwill for about $15, battery DOA. Hooked up the adapter and this Craftsman battery and they're good for the day.May be worth grabbing some fuses from Harbor Freight or Amazon (I think ours were 40 amp) in case a couple blow depending on your kids vehicle type.

Craftsman lost me as a customer since Sears sold them off and those mfs quit investing in c3 tools. Never again.
