I have this just to put my coffee on next to my reading chair. The main issue I find with it, it's too light so it moves around easy. I have a robot vacuum and it's gentle bumps can move this table. The other issue is the wood (which I think is stained bamboo) has no protective finish, so even the cold condensation of an icy drink leaves wet stains on the surface

i prefer an overbed table. easier to wheel around and more area on it. it also raises quite high and goes down to perfect couch level.

I got this today and it took about 10-15 min. to assemble it (basically, thread in 8 screws with the included Allen wrench). I'll use it tonight when I watch TV. Seems like a good place to put my water bottle or glass (on a coaster to not damage the fake wood) and put my remote controls while I recline on my sofa. Before, it was a PITA having to reach in front to grab a drink from the coffee table. I don't plan to use it to eat, so the small surface area isn't a concern for me.

Was thinking of using it to prop up my desktop from the floor but it is suggested to hold only 10lbs fyi. I decided to get it anyway going to use it near the desktop afterall.
