While 15PSF is not going to make you any friends in the building department (unless you live south of, say NC), if you ask a meteorologist, that's about 28" of "predicted" snowfall. If you ask an engineer (and I am one) they'll tell you that's around 10" of "balanced" snow in an 20 PSF snowfall area (light snow), 9" in a moderate snowfall area (35-40PSF ground snowfall), and 7" in a heavy snowfall area (70-80 PSF ground snowfall).

I'm south of NC and wind shears are my biggest concern. Sure it'll be fine 99% of the time but one storm with gust above 30 and I'm fixing or replacing this thing.

That is wacky, as I've been reading about these and researching prices on both Amazon and Temu.

Edit: Oh, this is the polycarbonate top, no thanks. they have a powder coated steel roof one that in watching.
This listing on Amazon is way too much, but this is the one I'm looking for.

I would say that snow load capacity and resistance to wind go hand in hand. And in this case this thing is incapable of handling either.
