With the problems with Thier tech support when you firmware upgrades fail. I would pass on any products now. I used to recommend them. But I have nothing but problems with the last device I purchased.

Curious, what device was that? I've had nothing but good experiences with eufy and haven't heard of any firmware problems from other users.

I had 2 different model vacuums. Got one for each floor of the house. One died completely. The other one wouldn't upgrade its firmware. Customer support asked me to record a video of the issue and upload it to Google Drive, which felt unnecessary - screen capture should be built into the app if it's required for support. I also had a solar camera that stop charging after a year, and the response from tech support was to "try a different wall outlet," A Smart Lock App/firmware update locked me out of App access to the Smart Lock. The app would no longer recognize my access code. Tech support just emails out the same list of things to try that is listed on their website. If anything requires more then power cycling the device, your on your own.

I bought this from their Kickstarter, and my wife and I love it! Our floors always feel so clean. It also got smarter from the updates. Really eyeing the new model for the edge cleaning, but it's quite the expense. Maybe in a couple more years.

When i called their support last week to inquire about which robot had the best obstacle avoidance, the rep claimed the S1 was superior to both the E28 and e25.

Watching the price on the S1. Waiting for one more price drop.
