Sofrin doesn't sell these without batteries. There is an sku with batteries+diffuser though. The diffuser is worth about $3.

This deal is still active as of this post, I just bought one with the discount code on the cell phone app. I tried Chrome on my Win11 desktop, but got silly checkout errors. I need another flashlight like a hole in my head, I been collecting flashlights from China since 2009.
