Mint overall is solid, but I just recently left for US Mobile, cheaper and offered identical service, but also more benefits such as international service/smart watch for free.

Why not get the 2yr deal with purchase of s25? Hassle to port for just 3 months and not getting the most of port in

Or get US Mobile like previous poster suggests until BF deals. Mint has been doing 1yr for 15/month past few years during holidays.

I've been on mint for over 4 years - switched from cricket. I like them a lot, if you are local they offer phenomenal service and you won't even notice you are on a low-cost plan. They don't throttle down speeds like Cricket does. Problems come when you travel a lot between different cities. I guess there is some function on the backend that prioritizes other T-mobile customers until if figures a place for you - I've always had bad coverage out of an airplane and then it fixes itself within a couple of hours. I have not experienced any other problems with them. They don't restrict or charge for hotspot usage which for me was a must. Cricket charged me for it and it was the #1 reason I switched - I needed gsm data to connect to computer when travelling. IDK how good are they with international roaming, but on a couple of occasions I had to make an international call and it went through with no problems.

Visible had a free iPhone 13 with annual visible+ for $395 a while back. Check back and see if they have similar deal.

I had Mint last fall and they throttled me to death, unless things have changed, after 35gb I really had no data faster than dialup speed

Good! Any mobile operator will throttle you down after 20-30GB. You abuse the system! They have a separate mobile internet service for this. And why wouldn't you get regular internet service for that volume of data?
