These types of lights are called flood lights, these light up a wide area field of view instead of throws which light up a focused area with a bright laser-like light beam.
As a first responder that works night these types of flashlights are amazing. I can use this to light up a dimly lit room by placing this on a table and making my own light. I can use this to gain access to an address while being very visible. These types of flashlights also acts as a non-lethal deterrent if necessary
As for duration of use, that depends on how you use it as there are different brightness modes and automatic temperature regulators that will automatically decrease output to protect the flashlight once it reaches a specified temp of 40 (or 45) degrees C to protect the LED for long term use.
The point is, this is an advanced and amazing flashlight for the price with its own flashlight Anduril 2.0 UI and if you haven't bought a flashlight in the last decade this is a pretty good one to start but this is definitely not an edc light

Pros of SP36 pro over the Q8 plus:
- much smaller
- MUCH lighter
- better grip texture
- better feel in hand
- better thrower with nicer spot/flood balance
- overheats less quickly on high (not turbo)
- prefer the amber button standby to the green
- dim setting on standby led is perfect, Q8 is too bright on lowest setting
- more refined package, feels more premium
Pros of Q8 plus
- much brighter, but primarily off-center with super wide, even flood intensity
-15000 mah vs 9000 mah
-more efficient at lower output levels based on specs alone
- built like a brick, in case you need to use it for blunt force impacts
-threaded tripod mount / handle mount
SP36 pro is a spectacular all-arounder and Q8 plus is more of a specialty tool.

Do you have some personal experience that went bad? I do not understand the fear and worry so many have any more than I understand why people are afraid to say hello into the phone.
The kind of fear you spread causes many people to suffer loss. I had a friend that was afraid of the online world and paid $339 in store for something I told him he could get on Amazon for $199. My fear is if you do that for a lifetime you are going to be in big financial trouble. There are many myths. Besides if you use CC and weird happens a CC dispute fixes it.

My recent AliExpress orders from Sofirn store were actually delivered by Amazon carriers. They had Amazon TBA tracking numbers.
