PS. Take some time to read the manual and all the modes.
Here's a yt review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeTAsXo
These types of lights are called flood lights, these light up a wide area field of view instead of throws which light up a focused area with a bright laser-like light beam.
As a first responder that works night these types of flashlights are amazing. I can use this to light up a dimly lit room by placing this on a table and making my own light. I can use this to gain access to an address while being very visible. These types of flashlights also acts as a non-lethal deterrent if necessary
As for duration of use, that depends on how you use it as there are different brightness modes and automatic temperature regulators that will automatically decrease output to protect the flashlight once it reaches a specified temp of 40 (or 45) degrees C to protect the LED for long term use.
The point is, this is an advanced and amazing flashlight for the price with its own flashlight Anduril 2.0 UI and if you haven't bought a flashlight in the last decade this is a pretty good one to start but this is definitely not an edc light

We don't live in world where things are coming from a particular store or even one location anymore. The makers, sellers and dealers may or may not have some facility where the stuff is or it may be subbed out and it is somewhere else. The somewhere else may ship for multiple retailers. I can become an online store and never touch opr ship a product.
There are also a whole bunch of intermediaries businesses have to get the goods to a particular address. I think some stuff comes directly from containers or storage facilities at or near the ports. If you but a Sofirn on the east coast you will likely get one form somewhere close and the same with someone on the west coast.
It is an almost unbelievably complex system that works almost miraculously well and is efficient and that is why we can get stuff so cheap. Computers and technology have changed the world in drastic ways.
You ever see the real time maps of air traffic. Imagine one with billions of packages going everywhere and the amount and complexity and interconnectedness it would show in supply chains

One important thing I learnt from that manual is the 4-click setting to lock the flashlight to prevent it from accidentally turning on (like inside a bad or a small kid) and then literally burning things. Or the 3 click setting when OFF to enter battery mode which tells you the current voltage from the batteries which is a rough proxy for how much remaining battery charge you have.

It is important even for single 18650 lights. I left one of those cheap AA zoom china lights on my mousepad and I do not want to say it could have started a fire as I saw no scorching but it sure did melt the pad to my desk.
Another thing to note and I am not always good without myself is the that the cells in themselves are dangerous and you need to follow proper care and precautions for lithium batteries. Not a good idea to leave it charging unattended..

I think your fear has been inflated by loose talk from people repeating things they supposedly heard. If you see charge not authorized dispute it. I have been dealing with China merchants large and small for probably thirty plus years and have never had a problem.
If you did add the card to your account you can take it out but do not freeze your card which means you will to get new one. Nothing has happened why would you freeze it or cancel it.

Batteries DO NOT come with it...so some good quality batteries, ~$10 each. Once you factor that in, it's still not a terrible deal.
I'd imagine that aliexpress is probably taking the included batteries out and reselling those seperately... Just a guess.
