So many mixed reviews. Basically, the blades fall out, but you can rubber band them in.

Saw a picture on one of the reviews. Rubber band goes the length of the blade.

have anyone noticed that all the "sales" lately listed from amazon have been dropping in price the last couple of days? like another $0.50 to a dollar cheaper?

happened to all of my purchases since last week. the price kept dropping and dropping.

this one was sold at $5.63 just last week.

I have the IKEA ones, had a plastic-body one, currently using a metal-body one, and I recently just got this Amazon one lol. What can I say? I love squeegees.

Anyway, I hate to say this because I love IKEA, but the IKEA ones are trash, specifically the $1.99 one. Not sure if they have any other squeegee. The blade is squarish and doesn't glide well on glass or tiles. It stutters as it glides if that makes sense. It's a stiffer blade so it helps push water, but due to poor gliding, it's not effective.

This Amazon one is pretty good. I use it on the walls and glass after a shower. It's a nice glide. It's not as effective as my metal-body one, but it still gets the job done. I think it's because the fin has too much give as you're wiping; whereas, my metal-body has a stiffer blade. The good thing is the Amazon one gives you two replacement blades. Other squeegees don't give you that and sometimes, they don't even sell their own replacement parts, so you have to go searching for the right piece. The ergonomics is good on the wrist.

Alright knowledgeable peeps- what's the sequence one needs to follow cleaning the grimiest windows..?

Spray window with window cleaner/ alcohol -> Clean with microfiber cloth-> spray window cleaner again- > Squeegee-> Finish off by wiping with clean microfiber cloth.

Is this about right or does the squeegee go at the end?

I'm sure that this must be 4x better than the one I bought at the Dollar Store a year or so ago. But mine works well for the shower door.
