- 500W nominal motor and crazy torque
- Well-reviewed torque sensor
- Relatively light at 54 lbs
- Optional range extender battery
- Unlockable to class 3 and it has the gearing to back it up
- Up to 20mph throttle!
- The old Priority Current model didn't have a throttle.
- You won't find a throttle on the highest-quality eBikes like Specialized Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH or Gazelle. Their manufacturers like to emphasize the sporty/healthy/active aspects of their bikes, and throttles don't fit into that picture. The Yamaha, Bosch and Brose motors that they use don't support throttles at all.
The biggest downside is the lack of any front suspension, but the tires are big enough to absorb a lot of chatter, so it isn't a deal killer. I don't know much about bikes, if I get seat and handlebar shocks will this work for light trails as well as roads? Looking for something versatile.
